3D Model Model Gives Mom The Chance to Feel Her Unborn Child Murilo

Tatiana Guerra The excitement of embracing your baby for the first time is unique. For her it was even more special. This is the true story of Tatiana, who is #CountingTheDays to embrace the little Murilo. Most expectant mothers get their first glimpse of their baby during the ultrasound. However, if you're a mom-to-be who can't see, the ultrasound experience might be a less profound experience.                                             "Meeting Murilo," a video posted by the Brazilian branch of Huggies, however, is showing the world how one blind woman was able to share in the awe of that first ultrasound moment, even if she couldn't see. Tatiana Guerra, 30, has been blind for almost half her life and now primarily experiences the world through touch. "If you could touch him, would that let you know what he's like?" her doctor asks. When Tatiana says yes, he presents her with a 3D-printed rendering of the ultrasound that Tatia

Images From Offworld

Robotic probes launched by NASA, the European Space Agency (ESA), and others are gathering information all across the solar system. We currently have spacecraft in orbit around the Sun, Venus, Earth, Mars, Ceres, a comet, and Saturn; two operational rovers on Mars; and a recent close flyby of Pluto and its moons. Astronauts aboard the International Space Station are still performing experiments in low Earth orbit and sending back amazing photos. With all these eyes in the sky, I’d once again like to put together a recent photo album of our solar system—a set of family portraits—as seen by our astronauts and mechanical emissaries. This time, we have our closest look yet at the bright spots on the dwarf planet Ceres, the shadow of an eclipse on Earth seen from a million miles away, a variety of landscapes on Mars, wonderful images of Saturn and its moons, several images from Pluto, and, of course, lovely images of our home, planet Earth. Animals   Recapping Past News Events Jumping Mechelen--Lorenzo the Flying Frenchman In the large family of equestrian artists, Lorenzo is something of a child prodigy. His performances are truly unique, such as his stand-up dressage which has its origin in Hungary. For example: four pairs of horses - one behind the other - with whom he jumps impressively over obstacles at full gallop. He has already presented this programme - known as 'Lorenzo Action' - throughout most of Europe - and each time he takes his audience by storm and receives standing ovations. Only in his early thirties, Lorenzo can already look back over a career which spans a period of more than twenty years. He is still young and yet so full of life, which proves what a person with courage, willpower and strength of purpose can achieve. Quite apart from his outstanding talent of course..                                            French equestrian artist Clémence Faivre‘s Horse

World's Largest Aircraft Unveiled England

World's Largest Aircraft Unveiled - and it Floats! Thu, Mar 2, 2016 Airlander 10 combines airship design with fixed-wing technology to produce what its designers call a hyper-efficient aircraft.                                            _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ The world just got its first look at the revamped Airlander 10, the longest aircraft in the world. The behemoth is 302 feet long and has a 1.3 million cubic-foot compartment for helium, roughly the volume of 15 Olympic swimming pools, making it incredibly cost-efficient to fly for long periods of time. Hybrid Air Vehicles' Airlander 10 was originally going to be a U.S. military surveillance vehicle, but budget constraints forced the Pentagon to abandon the program in 2012, shortly after a prototype of the half-airship-half-airplane took its first f

Holy Week and Easter, 2016

RELIGION   RECAPPING NEWS STORIES Last year, Christians around the world celebrated Holy Week and Easter, commemorating the final days of Jesus Christ—his return to Jerusalem, his crucifixion, and his resurrection. Families attended church services, hooded penitents took part in processions, and children hunted for Easter eggs. In Catholic passion plays, participants depicted Jesus' trial and death. Other local rituals drew heavily on earlier pre-Christian traditions. Collected here are images from several Holy Week and Easter activities 2016 A penitent cries after the governing body of the “Estudiantes” brotherhood decided that penance could not be carried out in the streets due to rain on Palm Sunday in Oviedo, Spain, on March 20, 2016.
